Welcome to the Winskill Otters and registration.
Our season runs all year, from September 1st to August 31st. Registration for returning members has begun. All new swimmers interested should contact the registrar (winskillottersdelta@gmail.com) to ensure space and for pricing.
Try us out for a week! Please contact the registrar for details.
Members will need to complete and sign the three forms below: SwimBC waiver, MSABC waiver, and the Winskill Otters Registration form and bring them to practice or email electronic copies to the registrar.
Membership Fees – We are happy to report that our membership fees will remain the same as last year for the swimming season of September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027. Below is the breakdown of fees and costs. Please send your e-transfer to winskillotterstreasurer@gmail.com.
· Early Bird Registration fees will be $677
o $600 membership fee plus the $77 Swim BC registration fees
· After September 30, 2026 fees will be $752
o $600 membership fee plus the $77 Swim BC registration fee & $75 admin/registration fee
· After November 1, 2026 fees will be prorated for the remaining months till August 31, 2027, plus $77 Swim BC registration fee & $75 admin/registration fee
Swim BC -Once your forms and dues have been paid you will be receiving two follow-up emails one from SwimBC with a link to access your SwimBC account. You are required to complete this final part of the registration process with Swim BC in order to be registered for this upcoming year’s session. You will also this year receive an email from MSABC for their registration and waiver form. If you have not received an email once you have registered please look in your Spam or Junk mail.
MSABC – As a Masters swim league we are also part of the Masters Swim Association of BC. Prior to this year SwimBC & MSABC were operating under the same waiver and fee structure. As of this year they have split off and as such there is an additional $25 for each swimmer to belong to this association as well.
At our AGM this summer, it was decided that the club would cover this additional cost for the current year. We currently have sufficient flexibility in our financial position in the club to absorb the expense without creating financial hardship for the club or its members.
Swim Meets – throughout the year other clubs do host Swim Meets please see the Masters Swimming Association of British Columbia for the 2026-27 Meet Calendar for information on dates. We will also on occasion notify you of meets as there are a few that members attend annually as part of our Otter tradition.
Ottermania – Saturday, November 7th, this is our main fundraiser and a key reason we’re able to keep annual membership fees affordable. We ask all members to mark the date and plan to pitch in, whether it is setup, timing, or clean-up, your help is essential for a successful meet. We will need everyone’s help for this annual fundraiser for our group. Information about the meet will be coming out shortly.

Monthly Socials – On the first Sunday of every month, join us after practice in the stretch room at Winskill Aquatic Centre for coffee, snacks, and social time. Please sign up to take a turn hosting this monthly gathering.
Refund Policy
Club dues are non-refundable. In the event of a medical issue which results in a club member missing practice for no less than two months, with a physician’s letter, a partial credit of a member’s fees will be given. The credit will be 50% of the yearly fee for the number of months of missed practices, less the MSABC fee. The credit will be valid for the following season’s fees only.
