Ottermania is the Winskill Otters’ long course (50m pool) swim meet at Watermania in Richmond, BC. This competition is always a well-attended by swimmers from all over the province, neighbouring provinces and US States. It’s a long day and a lot of fun!
Ottermania returns on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
This year introduces a format change that allows for the maximum number of participants. We recognize that many masters competitions close due to maximum capacity, we have a goal of allowing everyone to participate.
- Early Bird 1500 with a 6:45 warm-up, 7:30 Start and 9:30 Finish. (Victoria Masters will host the 800 Free Long Course in January.)
- A second warm up from 9:30 to 10:15 allowing out of town athletes to travel Saturday morning.
- A full program starting at 10:30
Eligibility: Open to Swimming Canada and other World Aquatics registered athletes.
With the current Swimming Canada and Swim BC challenges, we have developed an online entry form. Clubs may still use Team Manager to submit entries and relays.

US and other international athletes should e-mail the Meet Manager to enter the competition. You will need your name, birth date, club, LMSC/WA Organization, and proof of registration.
