The Winskill Otters Swim Club was founded by the late John Service in 1987. The club is based out of the Winskill Aquatic and Fitness Centre at 5575 9th Ave in Tsawwassen.
The club offers competitive and non-competitive coaching for individuals 18 years and older. It is not necessary to have previous experience in competitive swimming. This is a club for swimmers of all levels.
Masters Swimming is a world-wide program that provides planned fitness and skill development for adults of all ages.
The Goals of the Masters Swimming Association of BC (MSABC) are:
To promote fun, fitness, health, fellowship and participation among adult swimmers.
To give guidance and leadership in the direction, development and execution of program for non-competitive and competitive adult swimmers in BC.
To encourage the development and use of facilities for swimming in general and for Masters Swimming in particular.
The club is a non-profit organization run and administered by an elected Executive Committee.
